Let's see.............
Audrey turned 1 (sniff, sniff) and she is walking and running all over the place. She still hates being little and wants to do everything on her own. I'm hoping since she is a little crazy now, she will be a calm toddler. One can hope right?:) She knows about 5 words. Mama, Dada, Hi, Dog and yeah. Audrey is only in the 10-20% for everything but her head. Don't worry she will let it be known she is in the room. I love her sloppy kisses still. Now she will put her head on your shoulder as you hug her.

Kayleigh is turning 3 in about a month. She is having a Princess and Pirate party. My wonderful aide is coming to the party dressed as Cinderella. Kayleigh can't wait. She is a little stinker right now. I think she might be a lawyer when she grows up. For example. "Kayleigh, please don't pick up your sister" Kayleigh's response...... "But, I'm just hugging her" "Kayleigh, please don't write on my list" "But I'm just writing my name" "Kayleigh, why are you putting your hands in you milk after I told you not too?" "Because I'm doing this (puts fingers in her mouth and sucks on them" Yup has an answer for everything.

God, I love my girls.

In 15 days

My baby will be 1. I can't believe it. Where did the time go?
I would love to post new pictures, but I just got a new (pink!) computer so that will have to wait.
Audrey is trying to walk and will take about 5-7 steps at a time and will wave and say "hi" to everyone. She loves giving out kisses and I in turn, love getting the sloppy, wet, open mouthed baby kisses.

Note to Self

When packing away baby clothes if you think the outfit is ugly then DO NOT pack it with the clothes you are saving just in case you think next time you might think it is cute. You know why? Because it is even UGLIER the second time around.

Spring Planting

We planted flowers after dinner tonight. It was fun. Kayleigh loved to dig up the dirt and yell at the ant that were crawling all over my flowers that we just planted "Get off my mommy's flowers Ants!! We don't like you!" LOL That's my girl!

Audrey watched from her "go-round" and babbled and laughed at us.

May already

Almost a whole month and I didn't update once!

Audrey is still nursing like a champ. I have to give myself props once again for this. I am working full time and during my free time at work I am stuck to a pump, pumping milk for Audrey. It has been 9 1/2 month and she has had nothing but breastmilk. With Kayleigh I made it 14 1/2 months while working full time. Right now my goal is 12 months and I can see the finish line in sight.

The girls have been good. Audrey is pulling up everywhere, but forgets that her legs and feet work. She is trying to wave and has more teeth popping up on the top.

Kayleigh is a trip. Today she says "Mommy! It stopped raining, we can go to the zoo tomorrow! I want to ride a monkey" What?? where does she come up with this stuff?

We went to Camden Adventure today. Kayleigh wanted to see the "Nemo" (clown) fish. She also fell in love with the penguins. We finally saw the Nemo fish. She tried to touch a shark in the Touch a Shark tank, but got scared. I don't blame her.

St. Patty's Day dress

I made a dress for Kayleigh. It turned out OK. Not bad for my first dress. I'll post pictures soon.

Audrey's Medical Update

We go on the 25th for Audrey's blood test. I'm hoping it doesn't take that long to get some answers. Hoping it's just bad luck that she keeps getting sick.

Really bad at keeing up with this blog

So I would love to think my life is soo very interesting that everyone wants to read about it, but its not. Haha

Kayleigh is taking after me more and more every day. Monday Randy gets a phone call (lucky for us teachers that the phone never rings in our classroom) saying that Kaykay tripped and fell and was bleeding alot. He went to pick her up. Her lip was huge! Lucky for her she didn't need stitches, lose any teeth or even chip them. The silly girl never even braced her fall with her arms/hands. She let the face do all the work. She is doing better now. The lip has gone down and the only thing left is a small bo0-boo on the lip.

Audrey is going to be 8 months old next Wednesday. I can't believe it. Where did the time go? She is hard at work trying to crawl. She loves to say "dada" and babble. Here is a cute picture of her from our trip to the park last Sunday

First time in a swing! She loved it! She laughed and laughed every time we pushed her in it.

Friday Feb. 6 was my birthday. We went to go pick up the girls from daycare and then get ready to go out to eat. Audrey was sick so we stayed in and ordered dinner. She was still sick in the morning so we took her to the pedi. We were told she had Bronchitlitis(sp?) and that to use the neb every 6 hours. She seemed to be getting better put on Wednesday she took a turn and things went down hill.
I took Audrey to A.I du Pont and we were admitted. She had pneumonia. We were there for 3 days. She is home now and doing better.

My Peanut

Audrey had her 6 month check up the other day. Her stats are 24.4 inches (10%) 14.4 (25%) and 75% for head! Kayleigh was that at her 3 month check up! I have a peanut. She is doing well and is already trying to crawl. She loves Kayleigh. Kayleigh can make her smile and laugh even when she is crying. Kayleigh is doing great. She knows almost all of her letters and numbers. She still gets a few of the letters wrong, but hey that's outstanding for an almost 2 1/2 year old. She makes me laugh with the new things she is learning every day.
